USB 3.0 Turbo Crashes DimmDrive (Steam)

Hi,
Dimmdrive works in memory with no error.  I have used by San Disk previously, but have just rebuilt my laptop.
The error I get when selecting the "USB 3.0 Turbo" button is:

 

Dimmdrive has stopped working

 

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Click on "Close Program", and Dimmdrive closes, but is still running in task manager.
Application log has multiple events concerning .Net Framework, as below, I have verified the .Net Framwork is good:

Install suggested failed, stating below:

.NET Framework 4.6.2 or a later update is already installed on this computer.
