  1. Just recently somebody asked me for info on a gaming rig that would work well with Dimmdrive. I've put together some specs to build a pretty monster gaming system for around $1500. This system features 32G of RAM for a monster ramdrive size and a Nvidia GTX 770 4GB GPU with a heavily OC'able, liquid cooled, 3770k. Here you go! This system is very close to another system that I recently built, and that system was able to benchmark Dimmdrive on it with speeds between 7,000MB/s to 10,200 MB/s! CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($249.99 @ Microcenter) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($104.98 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LK ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Sniper Gaming Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($250.14 @ NCIX US) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($84.98 @ Outlet PC) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB Video Card ($448.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: Antec Nine Hundred ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair Professional 750W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($89.99 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.98 @ Outlet PC) Total: $1461.03 Here is a link to the build: You'd supply your OS (likely from your existing PC) and toss in all your old hard drives, keyboard, mouse, and monitors as well.
